In this article I will give you a small overview how to start earning free cryptocurrency.
If you are new to the cryptocurrency world but you already know what it is then here is your starting point.
What you need
First of all you need a working internet connection 🙂
Then you need a wallet where your cryptocurrency can be tranferred to.
The easiest methode is an online wallet – but you must trust the provider – the website must be reachable over a secure connection!
There are a lot of Online-Wallet-Provider in the world wide web so I will give you a few names
- cryptonator there you can open a wallet for nearly every cryptocurrency with one account .
- coinbase wallet for bitcoin and ethereum also you are able to buy and sell there.
- block.io there you will get a Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Litecoin wallet with one account.
Finaly a security note: You should always enable a surfguard that protects you to visit malicious websites. A good free tool can be downloaded from Sophos
Got a Wallet
Ok – lets start.
The easiest way for earning free cryptocurrency is to visit faucet websites.
You may ask what is a faucet ? – wikipedia described it as follows:
Bitcoin Faucets are a reward system, in the form of a website or app, that dispenses rewards in the form of a satoshi, which is a hundredth of a millionth BTC, for visitors to claim in exchange for completing a captcha or task as described by the website. There are also faucets that dispense alternative cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin faucets were developed by Gavin Andresen in 2010.
I got it – and how do I find faucet websites?
FaucetHUB.io supports the following cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin – Dogecoin and Litecoin
If you are looking for Ethereum faucet websites you can visit ethfaucet.net
FaucetHUB.op has a adjustable threshold and ethfaucet.net threshold is not adjustable.
That means they collect your claimed rewards until you have reached a minimum of the cryptocurrency before they will transfer it to your wallet!
You should stay away from:
Faucets which have a very huge threshold (in example 50.000 or 100.000 satoshis and above) before they will transfer it to faucetbox/xapo/direct – you will get payed maybe one time but mostly not a second time.
Faucets that pays direct
Some Bitcoin faucets have Xapo as payment processor were your claimed reward will transfered immediately to your Xapoaccount.
You can read my little Xapo Blogpost if you would like to know more about it.
If you dont want to visit the above mentioned websites because you have already a favorite website – hopefully cryptocrawl.in 😉 for your daily visit – you can use the cryptocurrency faucet rotators or use the linklist on the bottom of the bitcoin.cryptocrawl.in page.
This rotator visit some selected faucet websites where you can claim your rewards until the cooldown of your favorite website is gone and you can do your next claim there.
I hope my small overview will help you a little bit in how to earning free cryptocurrency and you may start directly on this website with your earnings.
